The head office of Prescott Securities has been located at its present site in Adelaide since 1987. Over the years the firm has had relationships with other organisations and acquired several local firms to create the business which operates today. The most notable of these acquisitions were Accumulus Ltd and Sanderson Blair in 2002 and Financial Management Services (FMS) in 2005.
In July 2005, Prescott Securities changed its name from Prescott Consultants. This change was a result of the firm gaining Market Participation status in the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX). Currently Prescott Securities is one of the largest independent stockbroking firms in South Australia.
Prescott Securities now has offices located in Sanctuary Cove, Queensland and Sydney, New South Wales. It is the intention of Prescott Securities to expand these offices over time to take advantage of the extensive opportunities these markets have to offer.
